There is something strangely amazing about these two flavors blending. This dressing is slightly sweet, slightly salty, and just all around “different” kind of good!
It has a healthy plant based protein punch with the almond butter, and its sweetness comes from the freshly squeezed orange juice and local honey. If you are vegan, feel free to swap maple syrup for the honey!
A freshly squeezed organic orange (usually around $1 each) would be perfect for this recipe, but I happened to have my favorite OJ in the fridge, so I used that this time 🙂 Either works!
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup almond butter
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 1.5 T stone-ground mustard
- 1 T local honey
- ¼ t sea salt
- ¼ t garlic powder
- Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Store in an airtight container in fridge for about a week.
